Not One but Two Big Lottery Wins for Missouri Couple

Whoever said lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice has clearly never met Marilyn and Jimmie Lovelace – a lucky married couple from Farmington in Missouri. Back in 2007, the duo made the headlines for landing a significant sum of more than $3.7million by playing Powerball; fast forward 12 years and the pair have hit the news again and yes, you’ve guessed it, they’ve won on the Powerball again!

Unfortunately, the drawing for September 4th saw Marilyn and Jimmie match just four of the five white ball numbers drawn plus the Powerball, and this meant narrowly missing out on the multi-million-dollar jackpot, but they still walk away with $50,000. That’s two lottery wins for the happily married pair.

The lucky numbers drawn were 4, 8, 30, 52, 59 and Powerball 2. Lovelace’s missed out by the number 8 – I bet they were kicking themselves. The Powerball draw for Wednesday is estimated at $50,000,000.
