New Set for Life Lotto Finally Sees a Top-Prize Won After New ‘Super Chance’ Rule!

The National Lottery Set for Life lotto game has come under fire recently for failing to produce a winner of its top prize; £10,000 a month for 30-years, despite launching two month ago, but all that has changed, after two lucky Brits bagged the top prize last week but the pair have chosen to remain anonymous.

Lottery organisers Camelot launched the game back in March, the twice-a-week game which costs £1.50 per play. Thursday 23rd May, Excalibur 6 with ball set SFL1 drew the following numbers; 15, 21, 31, 44, 45 and Life Ball number: 03. Two lucky winners matched the first five main balls – usually, this is £10,000 a month for ONE YEAR, but because a newly introduced ‘super chance’ rule, the lucky duo will in fact receive the top prize of £10,000 a month for THIRTY YEARS. The new rule meant that because nobody had won the top prize last week (for the 20th time), the top-tiered jackpot fell to the position below and I bet they couldn’t believe their luck!

The twenty-eight people who only managed to match four of the five main balls but matched the Life Ball, will be seething what with winning substantially less; just £250 each!

“Thursday’s Set for Life draw was one to remember as we crowned the very first top prize winners. They can now live the good life with an extra £10,000 month after month” said a Camelot spokesperson.
